To facilitate entry into Canada, it is necessary to bring proper documentation of your citizenship, such as a passport. Visitors from certain countries may require a visitors' visa. For further information on the type of documentation required, please call the Canadian Embassy or Consulate in your country.

All travellers must first complete a "Travel Declaration Card" available from any airline transporting you to your first Canadian stop. You must declare all goods that you are bringing or having shipped to Canada. Restrictions and other details on schedule of quantities and age limits are located on the declaration card.

As an incentive to visitors to Canada, Revenue Canada will refund the Goods and Services Tax (GST) paid on accommodation and for goods purchased in Canada.
