Ken Tam
Executive Chef, Lai Wah Heen

Ken Tam is responsible for the Chinese kitchen at the Metropolitan Hotel and is Executive Chef of Lai Wah Heen. A master of the kitchen with over 20 years of experience, Tam has been awarded Gold Honour by the Royal Ontario Museum for his creative cooking.

Tam gained prominence through his appointments at many fine-dining establishments, both here in Toronto and in Hong Kong. He has worked with Hong Kong International Foods, the Hong Kong Miramar Hotel's Harbour Village Restaurant, the Mandarin Club and Dragon Dynasty.
