As a fourth generation pastry chef, Thomas Haas grew up in the kitchen of his family's pastry shop in the Black Forest village of Aichhalden. His great-grandfather opened the Café Conditorei Haas in 1918, paving the road to Thomas’ future acclaim as one of the world’s leading pastry artisans.
Today, Chef Haas brings his award-winning talents for crafting desserts to the tables of Diva. Recognized as one of North America's top ten pastry chefs by Chocolatier Magazine, executive pastry chef Haas has an unassailable passion for creating delectable desserts and signature handcrafted chocolates. He has worked in some of the world’s most prestigious kitchens, from Switzerland to Los Angeles, in addition to teaching at the Culinary Institute of America.
